The 1st Shenzhen International Photography Exhibition Ended Successfully

　　On June 25, 2017,  the 1st Shenzhen International Photography Exhibition, which lasted for 4 days, ended successfully.

　　This is the biggest comprehensive photography exhibition since the founding of Shenzhen City; it is a grand event which is influential to the entire city; it is also a gathering of the most talented domestic and international photographers. Themed with “Urban Presence”, the exhibition invited excellent photographers from China, Britain, France, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Finland, Singapore and other countries to reflect the presence of the city, explores the humanity relationship between the image and the city from different perspectives. Other than the main venue, there are 10 sub-venues within the city, providing a feast of eyes for the public.

　　Li Xiaogan, a member of the Standing Committee of Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee, Director of the Propaganda Department stated when visiting the exhibition that, the 1st Shenzhen International Photography Exhibition is a cultural main course in “the Urban Culture Menu” , and is one of the important projects of <The (Implementation Plan of) Innovative Development of Shenzhen Culture 2020>. There is solid a foundation for the development of Shenzhen photography and its industry. The exhibition will meet with the public every June of the year. A variety of activities should be organized while sticking to the international positioning and high standard; keep on exploring the new path of combining photography exhibition and the development of cultural industry, the exhibition should be sustainably developed, and become better each year.
